The location of this accommodation was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. It was situated in a quiet and peaceful setting, surrounded by trees and close to a river. This allowed for a truly relaxing getaway from the city. the accommodation itself was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The kitchen had all the cooking tools and the living room was furnished with comfortable sofas, a TV, and even a fireplace.
There were a few aspects that detracted from the overall experience. The shower barely worked during my stay, with very little hot water available.

The spacious self-catering apartment provided all the necessary amenities and the kitchen had everything I needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. I particularly appreciated the informative Wild Atlantic Way themed information folder, which added a nice touch to my stay. We had an amazing experience at Killeena House. the location was perfect, with beautiful outdoor swimming areas in the stunning wooded gardens and by the estuary. the rooms were comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms and lovely bed linen. the service provided by the staff was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and the view from our room was breathtaking. the facilities, such as the sauna and fully equipped kitchen, were an added advantage.
There was one area near the picnic table that was marshy and potentially dangerous for children.

The apartment had a great layout, perfect for families with kids. the open plan living area was great for the little ones to play. It had all the necessary amenities, including a cot and highchair. the gardens outside were beautiful, our toddler loved exploring and searching for spiders and butterflies. the location was also great, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions.
Felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.
